THE BLIND BARISTA

ROLE: DIRECTING | EDITING

PROJECT TYPE: PASSION PROJECT

In a small town in the heart of the Western Cape, South Africa, one man is redefining what's possible. Joseph Matheatau is South Africa's first qualified blind barista- and this is his story.

Filmed over a week in Worcester, South Africa, 'The Blind Barista' is a short documentary that follows Joseph's remarkable journey: the training, the craft, and the quiet determination behind every cup of coffee he makes.

Such a pleasure working on this and getting to tell Joseph's story- he really is an inspiration.
